Beagles like to have fun. They possess a strong pack instinct, which means that they require consistent companionship in order to be happy.
Beagles have extremely strong sniffing and roaming instincts; they are amazing escape artists. They require a tall, secure fence as a minimum when playing outside.
Some beagles are very athletic and need lots of activity; others are quite happy sharing your space on the sofa.
Most important of all, beagles, like all pets are forever friends. Did you know they can live for almost twenty years?
